Registrations open for the Adamello Ski Raid 2025

Registrations are open for the ninth edition of the Adamello Ski Raid, the classic ski mountaineering event included again this year in the prestigious international circuit La Grande Course and scheduled for Saturday 5 April with departure and arrival in Ponte di Legno.

The competition organized by the Adamello Ski Team, which has as its backdrop peaks, crests, and places rich in history and charm, provides for the maximum admission of 350 teams to guarantee safety and services for all participants, who can join by 12 noon on 27 March. As for the race route, the Alpine guide Guido Salvetti together with Mario Sterli after the inspections of these days intend to propose the identical route of 2023, with a development of 39 km and 3,115 meters of positive difference in altitude, while the negative one will be 3,455 meters, with 12 changes of set-up, 4 climbs, 4 descents, 4 sections on foot of which 2 uphill. After the single start for men and women at 6 am in the Tonalina area (1640 meters), the long challenge at altitude will begin which includes the passages through Passo Paradiso, Passo Presena (2990 meters), Mandrone refuge, Punta Venerocolo (3312 meters), Passo Lobbia, Cresta Croce (3307 meters), Passo dei Tre Denti (2996 meters), Pisganino glacier and the final descent towards the center of Ponte di Legno.

There will certainly be no shortage of big names in the specialty who will debut in the first appointment of La Grande Course for the classic high-altitude challenges in the team formula with Pierra Menta (12-15 March), then with the Adamello Ski Raid, to close the 2025 edition with the Mezzalama Trophy on 26 April 2025.
The novelty linked to the 9th edition of the Adamello Ski Raid concerns the creation of an event dedicated to skialp enthusiasts, called Adamello Ski Raid Experience. The event is reserved for equipped participants and will partially follow the race route of the international competition, on a track of about 600 meters and about 2,400 meters downhill, with a total length of about 16 kilometers, with the inclusion of mountaineering difficulties. As has always been the style of the Adamello Ski Raid, the first classified in the male and female categories will receive the same amount in the prize pool, respecting gender equality. In addition, special prizes are provided by the main sponsor companies Montura, Scarpa and Enervit.
One of the characteristics that has made the Adamello Ski Raid known throughout the world is the participation of the public and for this very reason this year too there will be no shortage of initiatives dedicated to following the race at altitude, which will be made official in the coming weeks.
