Here the female winners’ impressions of the Adamello Ski Raid 2017 challenge at the finish line in Ponte di Legno.

THE WINNERS
Axelle Mollaret: «A great victory for a tough race. We fought from the first to the last meter together. We are proud of this success. I must say that the audience was an extra weapon for us and volunteers pushed us as women. A magical race especially for the cheering found at high altitude».
Jennifer Fiechter: «We attacked right away on the first climb, then I collapsed in the downhill, but Axelle was really fantastic. She helped me. It is thank to her if we won».

THE SECONDS IN STANDINGS
Laetitia Roux: «The Adamello for me is perhaps the most challenging race. I won so many times and it is not easy to repeat it. For my partner Cotrina was the first time and she did not know the racecourse. Our opponents had a little more today, but we had a good race».
Claudia Cotrina Galicia: «A beautiful and challenging course, the essence of ski mountaineering. Laetitia is really strong and we had a good performance».
